This sleeveless top features asymmetrical mesh panels, and a cute cutout effect on the top of the shoulders. The cutout effect occurs without any special shaping, so you can optionally sew the opening closed for a more modest look. The armhole and shoulder cutouts have a garter stitch edging, and the neck edge is finished with a stockinette rolled hem.

Q: Where is a good place adjust the length?
A: You can add or subtract length after you finish shaping the sides. Work even in stockinette until the piece measures 1/2" shorter than your desired length from the underarm. If you're unsure about this, I suggest that you measure a shirt you already have. It is also possible to adjust the length of the mesh section. If your row gauge is a little off, this might be desirable. To do this, just work fewer row repeats of the Divided Mesh Pattern (under the "all sizes" heading on page 85).
